ADMISSION PROCESS FOR MD/MS PROGRAMMES (2025–2026)

(Complete Admission Form will be available at the College during admission.)

1. ALLOTMENT OF PG SEATS

1. 1. Seat Distribution
• 50% AIQ seats i.e. 5  Seats will be allotted through the
  Medical Counselling Committee.
• 50% State Quota seats i.e. 5  Seats will be allotted by the
  Higher & Technical Education Department, Government of Mizoram.

1. 2. Eligibility for State Quota
• State Quota is only for ST permanent residents of Mizoram
• 2 Seats reserved for In Service Quota within State Quota
• All State Quota seats will be allotted strictly on NEET-PG merit.

1. 3. Important Instruction
• Only candidates allotted by MCC or H&TE Department will be admitted.
• Do not contact ZMC directly for allotment of seats.

3. STIPEND FOR PG MD/MS STUDENTS

Stipend Not Payable To:

• Students already in permanent Government service.

4. BOND AGREEMENT

• Bond Duration
• 1 year compulsory service after successful completion of MD/MS.
• Bond Exemption
• Candidates already in permanent Government service (excludes any Bond signed by the Govt. Servants at the time of Approval for further studies)
• Bond Penalty
• ₹20,00,000 (Twenty Lakhs) for failure to serve the bond.

5. MEDICAL INVESTIGATIONS

Tests (within 3 months) from Govt./reputed private laboratories:

4. 4. Serum Creatinine
5. 5. Chest X-ray (copy required)
6. 6. ECG (copy required)

Bring all reports at the time of screening.

6. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION

1. 1. Verification is conducted offline at ZMC.
2. 2. State Quota reporting schedule will be posted on the College Website (Admission → Admission News).

Bring:

• * Six medical investigation reports
• * Fee payment receipt
• * All required original documents

7. FINAL MEDICAL CHECK-UP

A Medical Board at Zoram Medical College will conduct the fitness examination.
Candidates must bring all six investigation results.

8. OFFLINE ADMISSION COMPLETION

Final steps (document submission, ID verification, signing of undertakings, etc.) will be done in person at the College.

9. OATH-TAKING & AFFIDAVITS

Candidate and parent/guardian must sign the required undertakings and declarations at the time of verification.

10. IMPORTANT NOTICE

Admission will not be finalized unless the candidate:
